The Asahi Glass Foundation hopes the commemorative event to contribute following accounts: Raise awareness of the society including young generations for pressing environmental issues, reviewing the past 25 years of the Prize history and considering the coming 25 years regarding global environmental issues.

* Program Part I is available for students only.
Venue:
Ito International Research Center, The University of Tokyo

Theme: What human should do to maintain the Earth so that human beings and other living things can continue to live here.

Part I:
Round-table Conference Participated by the Laureates and Young Folks (14:00-15:30)
* The program will be held only in English.
Part II:
Commemorative Lecture Session (16:00-18:00)
* Stimultaneous Japanese - English interpretation will be provided.
